Back in 2007-2009, way before KLMBRNG was even a real thing, there was arthaus*. Basically my first foray into electronic music. There was a bunch of other songs before this 3-song EP, but alas it was lost in the great collapse of Multiply.com, which just goes to show how old this is.

The homies in QED Records, where this was first released back in '09, had this to say about it:
"Both arthaus* and K▼L▲M†††B▲R▲NG are musical projects of Tomi Uysingco, who is first and foremost an artist. Music is visual art is expression is propaganda.

As a member of the PKi! Collective of independent Philippine musicians, he is all over the web in various guises and shapes, and as members of around 50 other bands and home-brewed music and art projects. We suggest you find and collect all variants to understand the complete picture.

Sometimes all that’s needed to get to places you’ve never seen is a soundtrack consisting of abstract melodic ambient music by the likes of an artist such as arthaus*. Going Places is a 3-song EP of somber ambient that uses patterns to draw you into robotic lands of mystery and angst.

File under: ambient, abstract, motifs, downtempo"

QED Records, one of the first electronic music collectives in the Philippines, also released a KLMBRNG primer called Albularyo Prime - consisting of 2 songs that came from the Demo/EP and another 3 from the album K▲B▲B▲L▲GH▲N: qedrecords.wordpress.com/2012/02/12/qd-4268-kulambarang-albularyo-prime/

released March 14, 2009
